Swimrun duo night adventure (relay or binomial)

Night course. Goal: complete as many 400m swim and 5km trail run loops as possible in 4 hours. Team of 2. 2 swimmers in pairs must follow each other on the swim + minimum 1 runner on each loop.

Swimrun night adventure trio (relay)

Night course. Goal: complete as many 400m swim and 5km trail run loops as possible in 4 hours. Teams of 3 take turns. 2 swimmers in pairs must follow each other on the swim + minimum 1 runner on each loop.

Swimrun night adventure quartet (relay)

Night course. Goal: complete as many 400m swim and 5km trail run loops as possible in 4 hours. Teams of 4 take turns. 2 swimmers in pairs must follow each other on the swim + minimum 1 runner on each loop.

Evening swimrun 5.4 km (solo)

Evening course consisting of a 400 m swim and 5 km trail run for a total of 5.4 km. Each participant runs solo.

Non-timed open water swimming

Open water swimming in pairs, non-timed

Always swim in pairs with your teammate. Swim the loop whenever you like between 8pm and 11.30pm. Enjoy the night-time atmosphere. There’s no timing for this activity, but you must wear a chip for safety.

Trail run solo night adventure

The goal is to complete as many 10 km loops as possible, on a night-time course, for a maximum total of 6 hours. Headlamp mandatory.

Trail run adventure night duo (relay)

The goal is to complete as many 10 km loops as possible, in relay, in teams of 2, on a night-time course lasting no more than 6 hours in total. Headlamp mandatory.

Night-time adventure trail run in teams of 3 to 6 (relay)

The goal is to complete as many 10 km loops as possible, in relay, in teams of 3 to 6, on a night-time course lasting a maximum of 6 hours in total. Headlamp mandatory.

Night trail run 20 km | 2 loops of 10 (solo)

. Swimming portions must be swum in pairs at all times
. Each swimmer must use a swim buoy and a light and glow stick
. Race portions may be run solo or with any number of teammates
. Each race loop must be run with :

    • Headlamp

    • Survival blanket

. The chip must always be handed over to a teammate in the transition zone (from swim to run and from run to swim)

. Return to the main site, relay zone and animated super refreshments every 5 km

. Race sections can be run solo or with several teammates

Policies for change of event, transfer, deferral or refund

RACE CHANGE

You can decide at any time to change races at any time until July 10, 2023 at 11:59 p.m.

Same participant towards another race

Fee of $25 plus the difference in fees for the new event if applicable.

Procedure

Available directly in your Active account.

Not applicable if ever we are at maximum capacity in the new race requested at the time of the change.

EVENT CHANGE

You can decide at any time to change to another XTERRA Quebec Series event (XTERRA Tremblant, XTERRA Bromont or XTERRA Gaspesia) until June 30, 2023 at 11:59 p.m.

Same participant to another applicable event in 2023 (XTERRA Tremblant, XTERRA Bromont or XTERRA Gaspesia)

Fee of $50 plus the fee difference for the new event if applicable.

Procedure

Available directly in Active via your account.

Not applicable if ever we are at maximum capacity in the new event requested at the time of the change.

REGISTRATION TRANSFER

You can decide at any time to transfer your registration to another person for an XTERRA Quebec race until June 30, 2023 at 11:59 p.m.

Change of participant

Solo participant: $50 fee

Team Participant: $25 fee per participant

If the replacement participant requests to register for a different race, the difference in fees for the new race must be added, if applicable.

Available directly in your Active account for solo participants.

Not applicable if the new person requests a change of event and we are at maximum capacity in the new event requested at the time of the change.

REGISTRATION DEFERRAL

Whatever the reason

You can at any time decide to postpone your registration to the 2024 edition of XTERRA Quebec until June 30, 2023.

The deferral fee before this date is $60.

You must email us at [email protected] to request your deferral. Fees must be paid by June 30, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. for the deferral to be effective.

Medical reason only

After July 1, it is always possible to defer a registration, but only with the presentation of a medical note which specifies that it is impossible for you to participate in the race.

The fee to carry over to 2024 after May 27 is $80.

The transaction must be completed no later than July 14, 2023 at 8 p.m.

REFUND

You can request a partial refund until June 30, 11:59 p.m. by emailing us your request at [email protected]. The refund, regardless of the reason, is 25% of the amount of your registration.

No refund possible from July 1, 2023.

Note that taxes, online registration fees and Triathlon Québec fees are non-refundable and are also extra in all our policies if applicable.

CANCELLATION

XTERRA Tremblant, in conjunction with city officials, public health officials and local police, has the power to cancel one or more of the races for emergencies, including, but not limited to, inclement weather, bad weather or a terrorist threat. If such emergency conditions force cancellation, refunds cannot be offered as funds will have been spent in preparation for the event.

CANCELLATION BY PUBLIC HEALTH

Policy in effect until April 30, 2023 at 11:59 p.m.

If the event should be canceled due to public health reasons, here are the options available to you:

    • Postponement of your registration for XTERRA Quebec 2024 free of charge.
    • Transfer your registration for XTERRA Bromont 2023, XTERRA Tremblant 2023 or XTERRA Gaspesia 2023 by paying the price difference if the rate is higher.
    • Receive a 75% refund of the amount paid and get a 15% discount applicable on your registration for XTERRA Quebec 2024.

***Note that the 15% discount on registration fees in 2024 is applicable only for new registrations with payment and will be added to any other promotion in effect.
