For the standard duathlon version, swimming is replaced by a 2.5 km run.
The different cross triathlon formats for young people are adapted in distances for 6 to 19 year olds (6 different categories). The level of technical difficulty varies from beginner to intermediate depending on the level of experience in triathlon, mountain biking and trail running.
In a swimrun there is no transition zone. Participants must keep their equipment from start to finish (shoes, pull boys, paddles and suit) and alternate between swimming and trail running (mostly on singletracks). All the events are in loop form to be repeated according to the format. The event can be done solo, in binomial (2 partners follow each other on the whole course) or relay (1 swimmer and a runner). Three formats: standard (total 20km and 10 transitions), sprint (total 11km and 6 transitions) and super-sprint (total 6km and 4 transitions).
